DFP Recruitment Services Pty Ltd (trading as DFP Recruitment Services, DFP Recruitment, DFP Network, DFP Flexforce and DFP Health) provides temporary and permanent recruitment services to a range of industry sectors throughout Australia. A requirement of these services is to provide prospective employers with a range of personal information about candidates recommended for employment.

The use, disclosure and retention of such personal information is subject to the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 (“the Act”) and is governed by the following policies:

  2. We will only collect and retain information that is relevant to a candidate's placement in future employment, much of which is required by law for employment purposes.
  3. We will only collect information about a candidate from third persons with the candidate's permission.
  4. The personal information we collect is strictly confidential.
  5. We will only use personal information in relation to a candidate's potential employment, except where we have a duty at law to provide it for other purposes.
  6. We will only provide personal information to a prospective employer with the candidate's permission.
  7. All personal information provided to prospective employers will be marked “Strictly Confidential” in the expectation that the client will treat it as such under the Act.
  8. Candidates have the right to access their personal information. If any of that information is found to be incorrect, a candidate has the right to amend it.
  9. Should a candidate wish to review their personal information held by DFP Recruitment Services, they need only forward their request to our Privacy Officer:

    This service may incur a moderate charge which would be advised.

Should a candidate review their personal details and be unhappy with the handling of their inquiry by DFP Recruitment Services, they have the right to refer the matter to the Office of the Federal Privacy Commission.
